About Us

The concept of Body By Vitalis began in 2020 during the height of Covid-19. I was at home with a new born and a head full of undone hair. At the time traveling was considered unsafe especially with an infant so I began researching and creating products to manage my curls. Natural ingredients and herbs were no stranger to me as I grew up on a large farm in Eastern North Carolina. This is why I chose my family name for my business, anyone who had met my father knew he was an expert in the kitchen and a master creator. He would create his own hot sauce with peppers from the garden, would craft barrels of wine in our barn, and all of his pastries were from scratch. Body By Vitalis is a tribute to his memory forever in our hearts. His legacy will live on through my brand. As he taught me anything you need can come from your garden, so I plan to share this herbal knowledge of natural remedies for hair and body with the world.
